We Are... Penn State CRs

Before anything else, Penn State College Republicans is an ever-expanding group of friends, and a long-standing part of the Penn State community.

Of course, we are also the local chapter of the Statewide and National College Republicans, and a partner with the Republican Party at all levels. Our mission is to promote the ideas and candidates of the Republican Party; while having fun, and enjoying the best that college life has to offer.

We engage our political rivals in everything from debates to football.
We bring in speakers from a wide range of perspectives, for a wide range of topics.
We have been involved in the community through THON and Homecoming.
We travel together to conferences, including CPAC in Washington, DC.
We stay connected with our deep and wide network of alumni.
We are the muscle, shoe-leather, heart and soul of campaigns that carry our Party to victory.
While we span seven decades of Penn State history, and four generations of Penn Staters, we never lose sight of the future. As our Chairman often says, "Now is a great time to be a Republican."

We respect the wide range of beliefs and backgrounds that has always held our Party together, and our membership shows it. Penn State CRs hail from all over Pennsylvania and the United States. Our members have supported leaders from Reagan and McCain, to even candidates like Ron Paul. While we may not always agree with one another, the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts, not less.
Elections are won and lost. Candidates come and go. But we are Penn State CRs forever.
